This is the perfect course for anyone who feels the need to get ‘back into their body’, heal old injuries or stabilise the physical structure. This course is designed to help those who have lost mobility due to injury or age, trauma, injury, stress or repetitive dysfunctional behaviours. If you suffer from sore a body or you need a kick start into regular practice this course will be of value.

Mobility and core – Re-entry is a 5-week online course. Live classes daily for 5 weeks. We have five mornings Mon – Fri 6:30 am live class (videos are recorded and stored for later access) and one community meeting per week.

This is a gentle course with building momentum. Our aim is to activate the parasympathetic nervous system whilst gently opening and strengthening the body. I hope to help you target referred pain and release stored physical trauma by generating a physical environment of safety. We will work through releasing trauma, opening mobility and then strengthening the integrity of the core. This is an advanced practice due to its subtle and profound nature, yet it is also suitable for beginners and those healing due to its simplicity of movement.

Participants will experience.

Meditation, mindfulness and breathing techniques.

Yoga asana and pilates informed movements.

Exploration of internal functions and mechanics

This was the perfect course for someone such as me who struggles with regular yoga classes and needs a slower introduction. The content presents a way to reconnect with your body and identify various areas you may not have checked in with for a while. I particularly enjoyed the restorative yin poses and I found that I enjoyed the online aspect as it completely takes away the self conscious element that I can feel in class. – Josie Stanford

If you’ve ever thought of doing Yoga or thought “I should, then you probably should. If you’ve ever thought ‘I cant’ then let me tell you this. If you have a body you can do Yoga. Ok not all types of Yoga suit all types of bodies, but this Yoga does. It’s a healing modality for those who need to start gently or those who really want to correct dysfunction in the whole system.

In this course we do not break open the dysfunction, we aim to melt and dissolve the limiting patterns of dysfunction by activating the calming parasympathetic nervous system and creating calm and restored harmony.

This course was the best gift I could give myself in these trying times. A jump off the deep end into the depths of my pain body, an enquiry into the foundations of Self. This was more than just yoga a course, but a guided journey into the wisdom of the body. With breathwork, humming and chanting being the gateway to what the body has been trying to tell me since the discomfort began. I’ve been practising yoga for eight years, and have found no teachings as wholesome as this. This course has changed me, and it has changed my relationship with my body. – Jessi Rose
